The app is hosted in the USA by Amazon Web Services.
In order to import/export metafields , the app would need to have access to the data related to metafields. To speed up the app, the app caches certain information about your stores. What data you store depends on how you set up metafields to use (from the menu click on Metafields Settings).
If you choose to use metafields on products, the app would access the following information about products: id, handle, title. It also store variants with the following fields: id and sku.
If you choose to use metafields on customers, the app would access the following information about customers: id
If you choose to use metafields on orders, the app would access the following information about customers: id, number.
If you choose to use metafields on collections, the app would access the following information about customers: id, handle,title.
If you choose to use metafields on blogs, the app would access the following information about customers: id ,title.
If you choose to use metafields on page, the app would access the following information about customers: id ,title.
The access data is cached in memory and used for display in the application. When you use the export feature in the application to export your shop's data , the exported data is persisted to a database and it is removed after 2 months.
The app permanently stores your shopify store name and API credentials (generated by Shopify) in order to access your store data.
When you uninstall the app, the app would delete all cached data in 2 days . The metafields you created remain with the store even after app uninstall.
