What Studio is for
Metaobject Studio manages metaobject definitions and entries inside the app, and helps you link one entry to many products (bulk link). Shopify remains the source of truth—the app does not keep a separate offline copy of your metaobjects.
Open Studio
- Open the app from Shopify Admin → Apps.
- Go to Metafields and Metaobjects → Metaobjects Studio.
On first use you may need to approve metaobject permissions (see related article). Until then, create/edit actions stay blocked.
What you can do

Studio vs CSV
- Use bulk link when many products should share the same metaobject reference.
- Use CSV import when each row needs different metafield values.
