Show metaobjects on the storefront

Important

The app does not automatically rewrite your live theme templates. Storefront display uses theme app blocks (Online Store 2.0) that you add in the theme editor.

Steps

1. Make sure products have a metafield that references the metaobject entry (bulk link or manual).
2. Open Show on storefront in the app.
3. Use the actions to open the theme editor with the relevant metafield block staged when available.
4. In the theme editor:
   • Add the app’s metafield / metaobject display block to the product (or collection) template.
   • Set the namespace and key of the product/collection metafield that points at your metaobject.
5. Preview, then save the theme.

If blocks do not appear

• Confirm the theme is OS 2.0 compatible.
• Confirm the app embed / app blocks are enabled for the theme.
• Confirm the metafield namespace/key matches the reference metafield you linked.
