What a coverage profile is
A saved set of which custom data / metafield definitions matter for completeness checks, so you do not re-select the same list on every scan.
Use profiles when:
- Different teams care about different definition sets, or
- You run recurring Studio custom data coverage scans.
Steps (typical)
- Open Data Doctor → Coverage profiles.
- Create a profile and name it clearly (for example “PDP required metafields”).
- Select the definitions / targets the profile should include.
- Save.
- When starting a coverage-style scan (or weekly job) that asks for a profile, choose this profile.
